During a home inspection in Queens, I inspected the laundry room and found the dryer vent penetrating the ceiling into the attic. While in the attic, I observed that the vent didn't penetrate the roof as it should, but terminated just before the roof sheathing. Dangerous carbon monoxide fumes are not exiting the structure properly.
